Thank you for your interest in the Spiritual Director Supervisor Certificate at Divine Mercy University. This course will guide you through the application process and provide the information needed to apply for the certificate.
The Spiritual Director Supervisor Certificate answers a need for more trained supervisors of spiritual directors. It consists of a 8 week long course with a practicum component. This certificate trains students to begin their ministry as a supervisor of spiritual directors.
The certificate covers the principles of supervision, roles and relationships, supervision models and tools. Students experience supervision as they go through the course (group and individual). Completing a practicum is part of the certificate and allows students to be coached as they begin to give supervision. A certificate of completion is given at the successful completion of the course and practicum. To get a certificate of completion, students must have completed 15 practicum sessions, made up of leading individual and group supervision sessions.
The cost of $976.00 covers both the course and practicum.
